Dear readers, pioneered by Kawasaki, big bike market in Indonesia has been marking a slow but steady progress. Now they has done again in the ultrabig bike segment when ZX14 R was rolled out from their stall, priced around 300 millions Rupiahs. With Yamaha Indonesia responding accordingly by launching a half million rupiah priced Vmax, Suzuki Indonesia finds no way to escape the competition since the East Jakarta-based company surely builds on its portfolio. Starting from TPT site, they have  put an interesting code to spot and decode, Suzuki GSX 1300 RAL 3 . . .

some numbers included in the code quickly make us think it is Hayabusa-belonging code. While confirmation should be made by suzuki officials, let’s talk briefly about Hayabusa once named the fastest bike on earth. The 2013 Hayabusa is equipped with 1340 cc engine displacement in four cylinder inline configuration, enabling the rider to feel the crush of evil in 173 hp and maximum torque of 104 pound-feet(S-DMS, mode A). With such scary outputs, you can expect the wrinkling-your-skin acceleration that is according to test made by CycleWorld, speed of 0-60-mph (nearly 100 km/hour) is achieved within 2,5 seconds and the velocity while speeding at ticks at maximum 300 km/jam . ..

However, curiosity rises as the fact reveals Suzuki Indonesia will release the 2013 version, instead of the newer one, 2014 Hayabusa, for example. Clearly depicted, the GSX 1300 RAL 3 code is known for 2013 Hayabusa. After a brief exercise of investigating, EICMA 2013-related posts worth reading reveal that 2014 Hayabusa having been launched in the event a few weeks ago shows no significant difference with the earlier version to be launched specifically in Indonesia. The engine, the performance of both are equally identical, yet the distinct characteristic is only 50 year anniversary livery put on the 2014 version which is almost similar to those in above pictures. How much is it priced? For the 2013 version, Suzuki Indonesia once put a price tag of 350 millions rupiahs OTR, with no clue about pricing for the 2014 version, particularly when VAT on Luxury Goods in increased he he he

  1. i think i saw this bike in a commercial featuring local racers as the casts. it was white and looked big and ridiculous. but, it shown only for a glimpse. well, the aerodynamic requirement must be the reason, i guess.

  2. Acceleration 0-60 mph (0-96.6 km/h) in 2.5 seconds? Amazing!
This bike is quicker than a cheetah, which was timed 3.0 seconds for its 0-100 km/h acceleration.
